Your child's future begins here.
Established in 1974, Stetson Baptist Christian School aims to work with families to develop students to be world changers. Our goal is to provide an educational environment that fosters a love for Christ and God’s Word, a love for learning and a love for others. Our faculty and staff works hard to inspire students every day, every class and every hour to boldly proclaim a Christian worldview in academics, fine arts, athletics and acts of service. The natural byproduct of this inspiration is to share it and impact our world for Christ as our students are equipped to reach their full, God-given potential and to live out their faith with grace, wisdom and courage.
Through prayerful dependence on God, we strive to provide a biblically-integrated, academically rigorous educational experience through which our students learn to seek God’s truth for their own lives.
In accord with the Florida Ethics in Education Act, all employees of Stetson Baptist Christian School have a duty to report all suspected or actual cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect: have immunity if they report such cases in good faith and have a duty to comply with child protective investigations. There is a legal penalty for not reporting suspected or alleged child abuse or alleged misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators. The Florida Abuse Hotline is 1.800.962.2873. The SBCS contact is the School Administrator’s Office.
FACCS & NCPSA Accreditation
Stetson Baptist Christian School is accredited by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS). Accreditation is a valuable achievement among schools in our nation and around the world. The achievement of “FACCS Accredited” status says:
We have voluntarily chosen to seek external validation of our performance as a school. We have gone through a rigorous, impartial evaluation by FACCS, which included peer school administrators, and have met or exceeded the standards. We have created and are committed to a dynamic School Improvement Plan; therefore, we always look for ways to improve who we are and what we do.
As an accredited member of FACCS, SBCS is accredited wit the National Council for Private Schools.
Our Culture
At Stetson Baptist Christian School, we have a unique culture. Our students can expect that, through experiences both in and out of the classroom, they will better understand how to be responsive disciples of Jesus Christ. Our faculty has the freedom to foster these environments where creativity, expression and implementation happen under a biblical worldview. When students and teachers engage learning from this perspective, everything in Christian schools becomes distinct because the core values and truths are framed through the biblical narrative.
Mission Statement
